On Friday, November 2nd from 4-5pm the Our Lady of Guadalupe Traveling Torch will be displayed in St. Agnes Church. Come join your fellow parishioners for one hour of adoration to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
There will be a short talk on Our Lady of Guadalupe, recitation of the Rosary and private prayer. Come and experience the many graces and blessings from Our Lady of Guadalupe
Traveling Torches in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be traveling throughout the Diocese from late October until December. The purpose of these torches are to encourage devotion and prayers to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Ameri- cas.
Early morning on Sunday, October 28, the Rev. Joseph J. Donnelly Council, Knights of Columbus will be receiving the torch and presenting it to the parish at the 7:30 Mass at St. Agnes. The torch will remain in the parish until Saturday evening after the 5:15 Mass when it will continue its travels to the next Knights of Columbus Council.
During the time it is in the parish, all are encour- aged to attend devotions and prayer services with the torch. A box will be provided for the collection of petitions. Each parish ministry is encouraged to in- clude the torch in a service with its members. The Rev. Donnelly Council has scheduled the recitation of the Rosary and the showing of a documentary movie “Guadalupe, the Miracle and the Message at 7pm on Tuesday, October 30. The location will be announced.

Parishioners will have tickets for sale for the Sept. 30 Brunch at the Shore Casino after all the Masses this morning. The Mass will be at the Gazebo in the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Harbor at 10:15, with the Brunch immediately following at the Shore Casino. Tickets are $25 per person, with a special $18.00 ticket for children 12 years of age and under. No tickets will be sold at the door the day of the event. Checks can be made out to OLPH-St. Agnes Church and are tax deductible.
