THE CELEBRATION OF BAPTISM HAS RESUMED!

As we begin to re‐open Churches, we are once again able to schedule Baptisms with a few restrictions.

  • Baptisms will be done with individual families

  • No more than 25 people in Church

  • All guests must wear masks

  • Only the parents & godparents may hold the baby

We have several time slots available for both Saturday, Sunday or during the week. You must call the office to schedule & obtain paperwork (732-291-0272 X117). Any previously scheduled baptisms will need to be rescheduled.

Weekend Masses to resume 6/13/20

Dear Parishioners,  

Welcome home! It is our pleasure to notify you that Masses will again be celebrated in our Churches.

Weekday Masses will resume on Monday, June 8, 2020.  Weekend Masses will resume on June 13 & 14, 2020, the Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).

While the well-being of our parishioners is of utmost importance, there are guidelines we must follow. We will consistently post any changes as we receive them Listed below are the guidelines as of today’s date.

  • The weekday Mass schedule is Monday. Wednesday & Friday at 7am in St. Agnes Church, and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday at 8am in OLPH Church. Weekend Masses will follow the regular schedule.

  • Weekday Masses are limited to 25 persons, while weekend Masses are limited to 150 persons, as we must have no more than 1/3 occupancy on the weekends according to the Diocese of Trenton. Masks must be worn in the churches.

  • There will be no missals or publications of any kind in the Churches at this time.

  • There will no collections taken by the ushers until further notice. Labeled receptacles for parish offerings will be located in the front and back of each Church.

  • No public gatherings or greetings before or after the Masses at Church entrances/exits or on parish property are permitted. Priests will not receive or gather the faithful at the Masses.

  • There will be the usual Communion lines with social distancing (6 feet) between communicants in line.

  • Hand washing with soap & water or hand sanitizer is required before and after distributing the Eucharist.

  • Celebrants should not wear a mask while offering the Mass, but only while distributing Holy Communion.

  • Confession is available as needed; confessionals will not be used. Outdoor confessions are encouraged. Masks are to be worn by priest and penitent.

OLPH - Saint Agnes "In Car" Masses Begin Pentecost Sunday, 5/31/20

OLPH - Saint Agnes Parish celebrated our first “in car” Mass Pentecost Sunday, 5/31/2020. “In Car” Masses will be ongoing until further notice.

Location: Saint Agnes Church Parking Lot
                 103 Center Ave.
                 Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716 
Time: 10 AM

  • All cars should enter the lot via Center Avenue. Parish ushers will assist in directing traffic.

  • If possible, please arrive before 9:45AM in order to allow time for parking.

  • If car windows are down, we respectfully ask that masks are worn. They may be removed if windows are up.

  • Communion will be distributed to all who wish to receive. For your safety and that of our staff, we ask that you remain in your cars and receive by hand only.

  • If possible, attendees must remain in their same car throughout the gathering unless an occupant needs to get out of the vehicle for their health or safety.

  • A Offertory Collection will not take place during the Mass. While there is no obligation, an usher will be available to accept any envelopes you may have as you exit the lot. You may also sign up for Parish Giving on our website for contactless donations.

  • On Sunday morning, a link will be made available to watch this Mass via Live Stream on our YouTube page. The link will remain available after the broadcast.

Memorial Mass to be Celebrated by Bishop O'Connell

Bishop O'Connell will be celebrating A Diocesan Memorial Mass for ALL the faithful departed of the Diocese of Trenton who passed away for ANY reason (not simply COVID 19) during the pandemic period when Churches were closed and could not have individual Masses of Christian Burial.

It will be broadcast on Wednesday, June 17th at 2pm.
